Tutoring
Private Tutor, 2021-
I tutor highschool and university students on a 1-1 basis over Zoom, on campus, or in West Point Grey. I am qualified to tutor advanced Philosophy and English Literature courses, introductory French and Symbolic Logic, and English as a Second Language. I take a skills-based approach that facilitates better organization and understanding of personal study and work habits.
Centre for Accessibility (University of British Columbia), 2018-2019
This tutoring program pairs academically strong peers with students with registered disabilities and long-term medical conditions and uses a tutoring approach that emphasizes self-regulated learning in a one-on-one coaching modality.
Kite Vancouver, 2018-2019
I volunteered at Britannia Community Secondary School in the Downtown Eastside to help teenagers in their after school Homework Club for 3 hours each week. Courses tutored: English, French, Social Studies, Creative Writing.
